King Pryxis
Breed: Friesian x Warmblood
Color: Bay
Age: Thirteen
Story: Pryxis was born into a family of Kings. His father, grandfather, and great great grandfather were all rulers of Diamond Hills Valley at one point or another. Royalty flowed through his blood. With this royalty came respect, dignity, a firm graciousness towards the God's, and a strive to protect his land and all of the equines that inhabited it. Not a single hair on Pryxis is corrupt. His father raised him as a regal Prince whose kind soul and commitment to his Kingdom earned him the next spot as King of Diamond Hills Valley. Throughout his life, Pryxis had to struggle with those trying to take advantage of him. While Pryxis was pure in soul and heart, that was not the case for all of those who shared his blood. Many of his family were power-hungry and devious; Corvus, his brother closest in age, was the most rotten of them all. His crave for power was overwhelming. It was obvious that he would go to any length to claim power. As they grew from colts to stallions, this undesired trait that Corvus possessed became present to their father. For this reason, all of his attention and effort was put into Pryxis, who had all of the attributes of a fine King. Pryxis struggled to accept his brother and refuse to grow hostile for his brother's crude actions. This helped him to grow strong. Learning to deal with his own family trying to plot against him to over throw his crown taught Pryxis to be weary of who he trusted. He became more defensive, and in the end more protective than ever of what he loved so dearly - his homeland. All the while, the stallion never lost his calm, pleasant, empathetic nature that made him so different from other stallions. Pryxis cherished the God's. He talked to them constantly, asking for their assistance and protection. Until the day that the human's rounded up his family, Pryxis had never doubted the God's for he never had any reason to. Once he was set free, his faith tripled. Each day he begged the God's for strength and love, prosperity and good fortune. If one is to insult the God's in front of Pryxis, that is the only time you will see him lose his temper. Respect is a very big deal for him. Now he fights to regain his thrown and bring peace and good back to the land of Diamond Hills Valley. Although bruised and battered, his soul remains strong and persistant.
